[Become a “Wealthy” Qishan Local – Banana Flower Dye Dye DIY]

Banana banana flower dye stains that cannot be washed off are seen as a symbol of “wealth” among Qishan’s banana farmers. Taiwan Green Banana spent two years developing banana flower dye extraction techniques. In this DIY activity, try various dyeing methods to create your own banana flower dye-dyed bag and take home a symbol of farmers’ prosperity.

【成為旗山有錢人吧-香蕉乳汁染DIY】

香蕉乳汁滴到衣服洗不掉，是旗山人身為蕉農（富有）的文化符號，台青蕉透過兩年的時間實驗與研發，將香蕉乳汁萃取，香蕉乳汁染DIY透過多種染布方式嘗試，做一個乳汁染的包包，將農民的富有染色帶回家吧！

Wang Jiwei, leader and lead singer of the Taiwanese band “Taiwan Youth Banana,” is a native of Qishan. A graduate of National Chi Nan University (Graduate Institute of Adult and Continuing Education), he now works as a secretary at the Zunhuai Cultural and Educational Foundation. He is dedicated to community development and frequently leads cultural tours in Qishan, introducing historical sites, local cuisine, and community attractions. Through rock music, he hopes to inspire others to connect with Qishan and its rich cultural landscape.

台青蕉樂團團長老王（王繼維團長），旗山人，畢業於國立暨南大學成人與繼續教育研究所，從小居住在旗山長大，目前專職於尊懷文教基金會秘書工作，推展社區產業、社區營造，平日也協助旗山文化導覽，介紹旗山古蹟、在地小吃以及相關社區景點。老王正要用搖滾樂的熱血和熱情，讓大家成為正港的台青蕉，向旗山土地這一所優良學府學習。推薦行程：旗山老街食字路口、旗山文化走透透、聽搖滾樂認識旗山。

Wang Jiqiang is a graduate of the Department of Ecology at Providence University and currently serves as a volunteer with the community tourism team at the Zunhuai Cultural and Educational Foundation. With a strong interest in plants and local heritage shops, he has conducted long-term ecological and cultural research in the community. He brings a deep understanding of how ecology and culture intertwine in everyday life and looks forward to sharing Qishan’s unique environment and local stories.

王繼強是靜宜大學生態系畢業生，目前是尊懷文教基金會社區旅遊組的專業志工。從小對環境植物與人文老店特色就有濃厚的興趣，而後因為長期在社區調查生態與文史，孕育了社區融合生態與文化的生活體驗出厚度，目前也是協會的專業志工，希望進一步跟大家討論旗山的老店總總與沿途的豐富生態。

1. While most activities are outdoors, some may be conducted indoors or presented via videos and slideshows in case of inclement weather.

2. Taiwan Green Banana's banana plantations use natural farming methods, without pesticides or chemical fertilizers. This allows everyone to connect with nature, eat with peace of mind, and play with confidence.

3. We recommend bringing your own reusable cup and utensils for the banana afternoon tea.

4. The color of banana sap is a symbol of wealth in Qishan, and it's difficult to wash off clothes. Therefore, when making your own banana sap DIY activity, we suggest wearing dirty or white clothing so you can keep the spills as a souvenir.

【Registration Method】 Payment Regulations

1. After registration, you will be notified separately by the organizers of each activity location. Please pay the activity fee within the specified period after receiving the notification to complete the registration process. Failure to pay within the notified period will be considered an automatic withdrawal, and you will be notified in order of availability to fill the vacancy.

2. Please refer to the activity registration information provided by each organizer on the "Youth Travel Spots" website for payment account details before making the remittance.

3. After payment, please fax or mail a copy of the payment receipt to the respective organizer for processing.

4. For those under 18 years of age registering online, please download the "Parental Consent Form" and mail it along with a copy of the payment receipt to the organizer.



 

【Refund Policy】

1. Refund Policy: (1) 80% refund for cancellations made 7 days or more before departure. (2) No refund for cancellations made within 7 days of departure.

2. Registration fee will be refunded if the trip cannot be taken due to natural disasters or force majeure.

3. Registration fee will not be refunded if false age or basic information is provided.



4. Unexcused absence or leaving the group midway will be considered a voluntary abandonment of the trip and no refund will be given.
