All program fees, including participation fees, materials, meals, transportation, accommodation, and insurance where applicable, shall be clearly announced before registration. Refunds shall be handled according to the announced refund policy, based on the timing of cancellation and any costs already incurred.
The program will be supported by professional staff, qualified facilitators, and local guides according to the activity content. Necessary equipment, learning materials, safety gear, and emergency supplies will be prepared to ensure smooth and safe implementation.
Participants will be informed in advance of potential risks related to outdoor activities, transportation, weather, physical condition, food, and local site conditions. Participants shall follow all safety instructions and immediately report any discomfort or emergency situation to program staff.
Appropriate insurance coverage will be arranged according to the program content and applicable regulations. This may include travel insurance, public accident liability insurance, or other relevant insurance to protect participants during the program period.
A clear communication and complaint-handling channel will be provided by the organizer. Any dispute shall first be handled through mutual communication and written records. If necessary, the matter may be referred to relevant consumer protection authorities or handled according to applicable laws and regulations.

✨ Reishi Winter Hot Pot: An amber-colored broth simmered for 33 hours with reishi mushrooms and 28 kinds of Chinese medicinal herbs, paired with local vegetables and fruits and free-range black-boned chicken. Its slightly bitter yet sweet aftertaste warms and comforts the body.

Follow the winding mountain paths that connect the former rhythms of village life. The stillness of history and the gentleness of mountains and water soothe the mind, allowing the body to slowly relax with each step and rediscover a sense of grounding.
① Village Walking Tour|60–90 mins
Led by local guides, explore the context and stories of Shiding. Visit the century-old Japanese-style stone house, Shibachong Creek Trail, the God of Wealth Temple, and the Tamsui-Kavalan Trails. Through the intersection of nature, culture, and history, see how Shiding has nurtured wisdom for living between mountains and water.
② Firefly Book House|45 mins
Inside the Shiding Book House, quietly discover the value of “water.”
Through videos and guided interpretation, learn how the Book House protects water resources through circular thinking—
including a foot-washing pond irrigation system, an ecological pond that restores fireflies and microorganisms,
showcasing the community’s respect for nature and creative approach to sustainability.
③ Reishi Hot Pot - Local Terroir Meal|60–90 mins
Prepared by the village homemakers’ group, this local terroir meal features mushrooms and local vegetables and fruits. Following the principle of “three lows and one high”—low sugar, low oil, low sodium, and high fiber—it offers a nutritious and healthy meal while reducing carbon emissions and additives, putting sustainable living into practice through food.
⑤ Reishi Scone and Mushroom Blessing Dumpling Experience (Seasonal)|45 mins
Make your own blessing dumplings by hand using Satoyama ingredients.
In a simple and fun way, experience the sustainable flavors of the journey “from ingredients to the table.”
⑥ Local Co-Creation Exchange|30–45 mins
Together with light refreshments and afternoon tea, review the day’s learning outcomes and shared experiences, creating space for village partners and corporate teams to exchange ideas.
