Mountain Adventure King 1 — A Youth Program for Safe Learning and Development in the Mountains
Taiwan is a mountainous country, and we hope to expand the impact of outdoor exploration education to the youth stage. Through our adventure courses, young people can learn about the mountains and forests, and with our guidance, attempt to venture deeper into nature. In the white noise of the natural world, they can calm their minds, listen to their inner selves, and gain self-awareness. Our educational base in Linkou will offer youth courses focused on mountain safety and two stages of practical mountaineering skills training. These courses, available as single-day and overnight programs, will allow youth to progressively learn and practice essential mountaineering skills in real terrain. Through repeated practice and discussions with experts, they will become familiar with and internalize these skills, ultimately gaining the ability to independently mountaineer and deepen their understanding of their hometown and the land of Taiwan.

Kaohsiung Qishan TANG CHANG Experimental Youth Travel Hub
Introduction to Qishan Sugar Industry The Qishan sugar industry brought about economic prosperity with the "Ciwei line."As the whistle of the narrow-gauge train sounded, the train carrying sugar, bananas, and people set off, creating a bustling scene in Qishan. This glorious era gradually became a memory with the passage of time. Join us to experience the life of sugarcane and once again revive that sweet and splendid past. Qishan Banana Qishan, with its unique environment and the railway system established by the sugar industry, became known worldwide as the "Banana Kingdom" in 1963. However, the banana industry collapsed rapidly after the 1969 banana peeling incident, leading to a sharp decline in exports. In 2017, Tangchang Community began develop-ing full utilization of bananas with the goals of environmental sustainability and industry transformation. By leveraging community cohesion, they started to transform the industry, showcasing the changes in Qishan bananas to all of Taiwan, and continuously expanding innovative products and deepening experiential education.
