Qishan, once known as the “Kingdom of Bananas,” thrived on exporting its famous “Beiqiao” bananas to Japan. This export-driven era not only boosted the local economy but also made Qishan bananas renowned throughout Taiwan.
In response to the decline of the banana industry and the migration of young people away from the area, youth volunteers from the Zunhuai Cultural and Educational Foundation founded “Tai Ching Banana” (台青蕉), meaning “Taiwanese youth who love bananas.”
Through innovative banana-based cuisine and original music inspired by local culture, they aim to revive and promote Qishan’s banana heritage.
At Banana Creativity Store, we embrace Qishan’s signature Beiqiao bananas and focus on using natural ingredients with minimal processing. Our mission is to create products that are both authentic in flavor and healthy.
