Dai Zhu-Xi Cultural and Arts Foundation

1. Founding Purpose

Established in 2021, the Foundation is a non-profit cultural and arts organization founded in memory of the renowned ceramic artist Mr. Dai Zhu-Xi.
The main office is located at No. 16-1, Chikoping, Neighborhood 5, Huguang Village, Emei Township, Hsinchu County, Taiwan.

The Foundation is dedicated to:

• Advancing the social mission of museums

• Promoting cultural and arts education

• Preserving and revitalizing local and craft culture

During his lifetime, Mr. Dai Zhu-Xi was an accomplished ceramic artist, teapot designer, and creator of ink and oil paintings. In 1980, he founded Tang Sheng Pottery Co., Ltd., focusing on the design and production of tea ware. He introduced the concept of the “Five Elements Teapot” and received multiple prestigious design awards in Taiwan.

After his passing, all assets, artworks, and collections of Tang Sheng Pottery were donated to the Foundation to establish a sustainable platform for art education and cultural preservation.

Since its establishment, the Foundation has been guided by the vision of honoring Mr. Dai Zhu-Xi as a pioneer in ceramic art and arts education. Upholding his philosophy of integrating craftsmanship with culture, the Foundation is committed to promoting cultural arts and revitalizing local heritage.
