Pomona Association for Educational Innovation and Promotion
The Pomona Association for Educational Innovation and Promotion is a legally established, non-profit social organization dedicated to public welfare.
To implement and promote the core experimental concepts of Adventure Education and Jena Education, facilitating social outreach and exchange while striving to enhance educational innovation in Taiwan and stimulate the evolution of educational thought.
To introduce advanced international educational experiences through cross-border activities and exchanges, providing students with a platform to engage in global affairs and fostering a sense of duty and responsibility as global citizens.
The association integrates the core principles of Adventure Education and Jena Education, focusing on experiential learning and outdoor activities to foster personal growth, teamwork, and social responsibility. Our programs encompass diverse fields such as education, environmental protection, mental health, and community service, aiming to create a meaningful impact on youth and participants from various backgrounds and age groups.
We uphold the belief that "Education is an Adventure", seeing learning as a journey of challenges and exploration. True learning happens not only in books and classrooms but also in real-world experiences, where individuals confront the unknown, overcome difficulties, and transform themselves in the process. By practicing adventure education, we enable participants to develop courage in facing challenges, problem-solving skills, and collaboration abilities through authentic interactions with nature and society.
Additionally, we view education not merely as knowledge transmission but as a process of democratic cultivation. We aim to nurture individuals with public awareness and civic consciousness, teaching them to listen, express themselves, and seek consensus amid diverse perspectives, thereby fostering essential skills for an engaged civil society.
