1. Indigo dyeing craft
Make plant-dyed and indigo-dyed hand-made square scarves to inspire your creativity in a fun and relaxing way, while also learning about the stories and development of local lemongrass and citronella cultivation.
2. Explore the Bat Cave
The Bat Cave is located in the Toubiankeng Scenic Area in Taiping District. It is a canal dug by artificial means in the early days for irrigating farmland. After a series of storms and a large number of tourists, the water source in the bat cave dried up and a large number of bats flew away. In recent years, in order to revitalize the Bat Cave and beautify the surrounding environment, we invite you to learn more about the story of the Bat Cave and let the Bat Cave regain its glory!
3.Ancient Farm Museum Exploration
The village boasts a dazzling array of artifacts, from oxcarts, early tricycles, and bicycles displayed at the entrance to bridal dowry items, makeup boxes, kitchen stoves, rice containers, agricultural tools, early record players, cameras, clocks, antique telephones, antique children's toys, and air raid sirens. Every detail of early agricultural society is authentically presented here, allowing visitors to truly appreciate the wisdom and hard work of Taiwan's early inhabitants.
